October, University of Delaware, As the 2025 Writer in Residence, I will be lecturing, leading workshops, meeting with students, and holding office hours on campus. Go, Blue Hens!

Oct 1-2, Hagerstown Community College in Maryland has graciously chosen The Last Beekeeper as their Big Read. I will be on campus meeting with students and lecturing.  

Oct 4, I’ll be delivering the Keynote address at the Massachusetts Department of Education STEM Conference in Gillette Stadium, Foxborough, MA.

Oct 16, Oxbow High School and the St. Johnsbury Athenaeum, Vermont. I will be visiting with high school classes during the day and speaking at the Athenaeum in the evening as part of a Vermont Humanities program.

Oct.  26-30, Teaching at the Writer Unboxed Conference, Santa Fe, NM

Nov 3, Brooks School, Andover, MA. During the day, I will be visiting classrooms and addressing the student body to discuss The Last Beekeeper, Brooks’ All-School Read, followed by an evening lecture open to the community.
